Look closely at the bottom center of this picture, in the white area just to the right of the gray massive cloud on the bottom... there's a lightning bolt in there! Maybe if I darken the pic a little it will be more visible. But, its there!

Here in KC this one had us thinking it was really going to pull something off... and then, it just never got up the juice to do it. But, we were sure the PUBLIC would call this into the police to report it as a tornado on the ground... even though it wasnt'.

Just a few miles south of Scotts Bluff , NE on Day 1, Roger decided to let Vans 1 and 2 sit-tight for a couple of extra minutes to experience ping-pong ball sized hail. Van 3 couldn't be risked, as it is a RENTAL and can't be destroyed before returning it. :( (It already has a spider-webbed windshield from T3.) So, the two SLT-owned Vans were fair-game for a couple of minutes of noisy fun. :) Check out the ping-pong balls BOUNCING in the grass after they hit! We LEFT before the worst of it even got to us!
